[TowerTalk] 580 to 584 feet?

Ok,  so what is special about these lengths of wires
for Beverages and long wire antenna legs?  I see
W3LPL,  Frank,  specifying same for beverage lengths,
and Lloyd Colvin, way back in 1956,  specified 584'
as a great length for V-beam legs(QST, 8/56)?

Does not seem to be a multiple of any band's wave
length that I can calculate;  of course,  I may
be doing it incorrectly!!

PS: Now have 600 feet of wire out on all four V legs;
never mind that is not straight out!!  Hope to have
them connected and tweaked by 0000 UTC for CQWW!!
