[TowerTalk] Grounding Question

I cannot address all your concerns, but I am a big advocate for a single
point ground...especially at the station equipment.  Since your antennas are
so far way, I would put in a ground at the base of the tower as well.
But...I digress...

I have learned through the school of hard knocks to ground all your
equipment to a single point.  Don't use a buss bar type ground behind the
desk.  Ground everything to the same point and then ground that point to a
ground rod.  Keeps ground loops from occuring....so I'm told...so I have
experienced.

I would drill a hole in the concrete floor and drive a ground rod as deep as
you can go.  You might consider welding two ground rods together and place
16 feet in the ground instead of just 8 feet.

Again, this is just one suggestion.  There are many schemes out there.
