[TowerTalk] Slopers and Baluns (II)

Hi Gang --

My original post was a bit confusing in that I forgot to indicate that these
will be HALF WAVE slopers suspended from the 180 ft. level.  Here is my
original question:

"This fall I am hoping to hang four slopers on 160 and switch them with a
remote switch that does not ground the unused antennas.

Is the use of a balun  at the feedpoint contra-indicated in a system like this?"
