[TowerTalk] LIGHTNING STRIKE

I wholeheartedly endorse K4VUD's comment below.  Last year, lightning
struck the pole line in front of my home, and took out the telephone
company interface box on the outside of my home.  Its very fortunate
that I have a brick home, because the box was blown completely off the
brick wall, leaving only the frayed wires and an impressive scorch mark on
the bricks!   The box itself was five feet from the wall and totally
destroyed.  I'd hate to think what might have happened if the box had been
attached to a flammable surface!
