[TowerTalk] Rebar In Tower Base

Word is (from welders) that welding to ordinary re-bar weakens it at the
weld point.  Then, did HyGain use "special" re-bar in the welded cages
they have sold me as HG-70HD bases???
Does anybody know anything, for sure?  K4VU
