[TowerTalk] Protective Coatings for Beams

Thanks to all the guys for answering me about coating the terminal strip 
on my rotor.

Now that my rotor is done, I am putting together my KLM 34-A tri-bander.  

Being near salt water, it has been suggested that I coat the beam with 
Krylon clear spray to slow down corrosion.

Does anyone know how this will work?  Any other suggestions?
