[TowerTalk] New Subscriber

[Hank Lonberg]

     Hello to the reflector:
     
     My name is Hank Lonberg and I just subscribed to this reflector. I am 
     a licensed civil/structural engineer in 7 states and 2 Canadian 
     provences. I am also a volunteer consulting engineer for the ARRL.
     
     I typically engineer and manage Medium to Large Industrial Plant 
     design projects but also in deference to the ARRL and my fellow hams 
     provide design engineering services for tower installation projects.
     
     I hope to provide the subscribers of this reflector with some basic 
     Q&A type assistance and hope to keep people out of trouble both 
     engineering-wise and regulatory-wise. The regulatory agencies 
     (building departments) seem to have taken a keener interest in tower 
     installations in the last few years and are requiring more dot the i's 
     and cross the t's type performance from the individual seeking to 
     permit his/her project.
     
     Anyway thanks for the bandwidth. For those going to Dayton, I'll be 
     there staying at the Crowne Plaza and if you run into me and wish to 
     talk about tower installation projects or other items don't hesitate 
     to introduce yourself.
