       Naw. The Liquid Electrical Tape forms a moisture and UV resistant
membrane that you can cover with tape too. It performs the same function as
vapor wrap (moisture barrier). There is more than one way to do it. Here's
another - do the tape-vapor wrap-tape and then paint it with Liquid Electrical
Tape. 

       In addition, Scotch makes a bunch of products that could be used as a
vapor wrap including self-vulcanizing tapes, electrical putty, other butyl
rubber products, etc. I'm just trying to make people aware that there are
right ways to do it and wrong ways along with right materials and wrong
materials. Heck, even the dreaded CoaxSeal can be used a vapor wrap if you put
it over a tape layer. Same hymn, different page.
