I had excellent service from hy-gain last year at about $75. I have used
CATS in Ohio also with good results. Hy-gain's flat rate is attractive if
you think your parts cost will be large. After 18 years, it probably will
be. In addition to the indicator potentiometer, they replaced a worn upper
bell housing. They also added the ferrite beads to the terminal leads -
current construction - at my request and all the standard R&R required. The
price at the time was a bargain. Fast turn around costs more. If you don't
think you'll have to replace any parts (and you really better understand)
then CATS or the rotor doc will be less expensive for just R&R.
