[TowerTalk] More on Bobtails

[N9YXA-Cedrick Johnson]

For our FD efforts, I used a Bobtail for 20CW. We had another antenna, a
Double Extended Zepp, and I wasn't too pleased with it. It seems as though
sigs were louder on the Bobtail than on the DEZ... I am now planning to
build a 20M bobtail for SS Phone and CW. Does anyone have the formulas for
that?

This is a drawing of what it looked like at FD.  I know one end had a
capactitor tuning box on it. I'll try to contact the person and see if I
cannot get the lengths and the values for the tuning box.
