Trying not to, by trial and error, re-invent the wheel, I thought maybe one
of you had a working shunt-fed tower design(s) for 80M and or
160M.......one that is applicable to my very typical back yard installation
..... which is 60 ft of Rohn 25G with a small tribander at 68ft......guys are
not insulated......I have the ARRL handbook design info/ example but I
thought maybe some practical field input from those that had 'been there'
could save a little trouble in finding/selecting the capacitor/wire length
combination.....particularly finding a readily available capacitor .......
probably could feed the tower as-is for 80M?......Drake MN75 tuner is
available in the shack....
