[TowerTalk] Shunt feed, interaction and elevated radials

Hi Pete, N4ZN, at the risk of saying the obvious, Have you considered
attaching elevated radials to your 25G tower, located say 30 degrees up the
tower, sloping to the ground, to make the radiating part of the tower about 90
degrees long?

Perhaps your bottom set of guys are close enough to this height to work by
placing insulators at the proper places in the guys. I used a system like this
on 80 meters with a similar sized tower back in the early 70's, with a shunt
feed on the tower,  using the second guy level for radials. It was a killer on
80 meters but wiped out every consumer audio device for a radius of about 300
feet. Apparently it *WAS* a low angle radiator!
