[TowerTalk] Supporting Long Hardline Runs

I've been doing a lot of site construction for the three PCS companies around
Detroit. The standard (here anyway) is a hoisting grip at the top, and another
in the middle if over 200' of vertical run, and non-insulated hangers every
5' or 6'.

Since the hangers are not really designed to carry weight, their purpose is
merely to hold the cable still and make the runs pretty. Therefore, it would
seem that the hoisting grips are doing the more important job of supporting
the weight of the cable without damaging it.

After all, on monopole installations, there are NO hangers. Just a hoisting
grip at the top, and all 150' or so of cable hanging loosely inside the pole.

If the cheaper Kellum grip can accomplish that, then it should be perfect
for cheap hams :)
