I rebuilt one of these antennas last summer and had the same problem. I called
Hy Gain direct.(I believe I got the number from their website) The folks there
were MORE than cooperative and helpful. Altho the antenna is not made any
longer, most of the hardware items are available from other products. I
purchased the trap caps, all the end caps for the elements, the plastic mounts
for the loading unit, the boom end caps, stainless clamps, and some of the
small aluminim elements that were damaged. I had the "stuff" in about a week.
I wish other mfg's were as helpful and prompt with service as Hy Gain was in
