[TowerTalk] GFIs and lightening

  A friend friends tower just got hit by lightening and also the power pole tooka strike as well.   Extensive damage to all electronics.  

   However, electrical equipment at the pool next to the house was fine.  All were protected by Ground Fault Interrupt outlets.   

   Should these devices be part of our overall lightening protection plan?



Anyone tried this.......experiences??
