A true cable cutter resembles a Hydralic Jack, Only the side is open
and You side the cable in, Up to 1" cable. Get a good sledge hammer
and 1 or 2 whacks and your thru. A round 3 ton Jack looks just like it.

Some Rental Supply have not many but some.

A lot of the Old Time Hardware Store Have one To cut cable
they sell. If you trade with them regular they might loan or
give you a real cheap rent. 2 Stores locally here have them.

I had one, loaned it out a few years ago. It never came back
and I don't remember who I loaned it to. It was about 50 years
old but they don't wear out. I've seen bolt cutter blades ruined
trying to cut cable. I have a 4 foot bolt cutter that I will not use
to cut cable .Any Construction Company, Heavy Equipment co.
will have some. Got any Buddies that can get one for you ?

Got to bring Crane Rental in on this. They will have one........
Call one and see if they will rent you one.
