[TowerTalk] More KLM problems

Well that 'high price" piece of 3/8" by 72" piece of aluminum came today and
UPS put a nice L in the package so I got 2 pieces rather than one. I
refused it and sent it back.

I then went to two places and found the 3/8" stock they have is all heavier
than that supplied by KLM. The Tull rep said the KLM stuff was very poor
quality, perhaps imported, and thats why it snaps so easy and is chalky
looking where it breaks.

I am afraid the extra weight will cause an imbalance. This is the part
where the blue caps slip on... Does anyone know what type of aluminum KLM
uses? Its not 61T or 62T and the wall thickness seems heavy but the actual
aluminum is soft.
