[TowerTalk] Rotor Calibration Problems?

I recently put up a small tribander (C-3SS) with a refurbished
TR-44 rotor.  

I'm having trouble calibrating the rotor. I can apparently
calibrate it at certain positions in one direction, but when I
swing the antenna back, it isn't where it should be -- or
rather, it isn't where the indicator said it should have been
(and was when I ran it in the opposite direction). 

Have I done something wrong, or is it the rotor. 

Any suggestions or solutions??
