[TowerTalk] Calculating ground conductivity from soil pH ?

Dear Towertalkians,

Last weekend my YL bought a simple pH-value measuring device used to
determine the pH-value of the soil in your garden. I made me thinking if I
could use that device to get the actual conductivity of the soil beneath my
antennas. As far as I can recall my chemistry classes the pH-value tells you
something about the reactivity of electrolites. Is it possible to map the
pH-value of the soil to conductivity values ?

Thanks for your input,
