My KT34XA and 402CD are 10 feet apart. There is very minimum interaction at
that distance. There would probably be more interaction if you turned them 90
degrees apart because of the boom of the CD interacting with the XA.

Also, I suggest the XA on top because of the element droop of the CD. Also, an
additional 10' makes a lot more difference at 10-15-20 than at 40 meters.
