Press Release - Array Solutions StackMaster
September 10 1998

Array Solutions announces the StackMaster a 4 antenna stack controller
for monoband yagi stacks. The StackMaster maintains a 50 ohm match to
all combinations of any 1, any 2, any 3, and all 4 antennas in your
stack. It allows easy selection of any combination of the antennas from
the controller inside your station.

The new style electronic controller utilizes easy to push buttons with
LEDs on the button to indicate which antennas are selected. Basically
one just touches the button to select the antenna desired or touch the
button again to take it out. All unselected antennas are grounded.

The StackMaster utilizes high power relays which conservatively can
handle more than 5KW CW as well as giving tremendous isolation. This
makes reliability very high, as in all Array Solutions' products.
Reliability is further enhanced by incorporating the PTT (push to talk)
line as an input to the electronic controller. This feature lockout
being able to change any antenna selections while transmitting. This
assures that no hot switching can occur by accident.

The StackMaster system also incorporates Lightning protection for all
control lines. As in the StackMatch product the Array Solutions Dual
Feedline option may be added at any time for two radio operation of the
stack.
Matching of the antennas is accomplished through the use of four 1/4
wave professionally built and measured coaxial stubs which attach to the
StackMaster. The user can order the StackMaster with or without Stubs,
allowing the user to build their own matching lines and save costs.

We will have details published on the web site soon.
