[TowerTalk] Why Not Wood?

It seems that wooden poles are not frequently used for amateur radio
antenna supports, except when they happen to already in usable locations,
and available.  They offer incredible strength, and are much less
noticable to the average neighbor, since they are commonly seen
everywhere.  We have lots of them at N6IJ.  
	They must be expensive to buy and install.... especially in the
longer sizes.

Anyone know how much a 75 to 90 foot stepped, creosoted pole would cost to
buy and install?  If it was competitive with, say, Rohn 55, it might make
sense to use one instead of a metal tower....
