I had never used a rivit tool either, so I too, wasn't sure what I needed.
At Home Depot I bought a "Pop Rivitor" for $25. Couldn't be simpler to use.
I understand why you asked, 'cause before I bought the Force 12 antenna a
"pop rivitor" might as well have been a plutonium injector. You'll see that
hand riviting is as easy as pie. A great construction technique over hose
clamps IMO. I also, LOVE my C4.
