[TowerTalk] Big Grip Sleeves

I noticed in the Rohn catalogue that they advertised a "sleeve" (I can't 
really remember the proper terminology) that were to be used with the Big 
Grips.  Are these necessary to keep the Big Grip from unraveling or can I
