    You answered your own question below - "follow the manufacturer's specs".

       If it's a Rohn tower, get the Rohn book and follow their 
recommendations. Since it sounds like you've got a non-Rohn tower, you can 
still make some inferences from a similar tower to yours. 

       Miami County is only a 70 MPH windspeed zone so you don't have much to 
worry about wind-wise.

      Why would you think that? On TowerTalk, there's no such thing as a dumb
