[TowerTalk] Ground Rod Under Tower Base

It would appear that I was not clear enough about a major fact.  There
would be no ground conductor WITHIN the concrete base.  The rod would be
UNDER the base, and the wire OUTSIDE of the concrete base, connecting to
the rest of the ground system once it got to the top.

Running a ground wire THROUGH the base could lead to instant explosion
of the base during a lightning strike.  The moisture in the concrete
turns to steam and expands greatly, destroying the base.
