[TowerTalk] Nye Viking MBV-A Tuner Mod

Gentlemen:

All this talk regarding the Johnson Matchbox brings to mind an article that I 
saw donkey's ears ago:

But, this particular article that I am referring to described a modification 
not to the Johnson Matchbox but rather the Nye Viking MBV-A antenna tuner.  
As I recall, it increased the range of the match on  80 or 160 M. 

Can anyone help me locate this article?  I think it might have been in QST 
but it's been so long ago, I could be wrong!
