[TowerTalk] Power Line Noise?

Lots of luck!
Expect noise.
Dirty insulators MILES away will make the sparks that will be seen as NOISE
at that QTH.
I once lived in close proximity (like you) to the main power entering my
community. The power company wanted to help but, they did not have the
resources. That was 20 years ago when washing insulators was a normal PM.
I have not seen an insulator washed in 10 years or more.
I solved my problem by moving to an area that has underground utilities.
Try this -- drive up there with a good mobile H.F. radio and listen. Do
this when there is no wind -- and again during wind.
Hope your deposit is refundable.
