[TowerTalk] Installing Connectors on LMR 500

I have recently purchased some LMR 500 cable and UHF connectors.  The 
supplier does not have any instructions for installing the connectors 
onto the cable.  I will be making up two connectors this weekend & 
would be interested in any tips that you might have regarding the 
do's & don't for this particular type of installation.  The rear of 
the fittings resemble N fittings and I am inclined to think that the 
cable would be attached to the fitting as one does with standard 
RG-213 and an N fitting.  Is this correct?
