[TowerTalk] Figure 8 Knot Description?

Hi Paul,
Hold the rope by index finger and thumb of your left hand with about
a foot of rope sticking out.  Take the end of the rope with your right
hand and make a loop by pulling it to your left and across the top of
the rope you are holding with your left hand.  Slide the rope under
your left thumb, on top of the rope.  Pull the end of the rope until
you can feel a small loop.  With right hand, fold the end of the rope
under the rope that is between your left thumb and your body and
bring the end of the rope all around and push it down through the
small loop you are holding with your left hand.

You can feel the rope to sense that it is in a *figure eight*.
