[TowerTalk] Non-permanent towers; what to do?

I have heard of folks using the flat plate base and driving pipes/rods in
the ground to fit the holes in the base, first placing a heavy piece of
metal down with the same bolt pattern (to keep the tower from sinking into
the gound). Use screw-in anchors for the guys and there you are. Provided
that you don't live in hurricaine alley. You can pack it all up and go
whenever you need to. I personally wouldn't do this with more that 3 or 4
sections where I live, but it sure should hold a tribander in most blows.
