[TowerTalk] Using HF2V Coil-Cap Sets For Other Purposes?

I have acquired the 40, 80 and optional 160 meter coils and caps sets
for the Butternut HF2V.

The coils will clean up nicely with a ScotchBrite pad and be good as new.

Three questions to the group:

1.  How do I properly clean up the air variable?
2.  Anyone used a 160m coil & cap set like this to rig a monoband 
     vertical?  Advice for me?
3.  Anyone interested in the 40 & 80m sets?
