They both cover the same guy range - 3/16" and 1/4" - but the 90 Model
B is the original that you have to pull a string to take a reading. It won't
hang on the guy so you have to pull the string each time you want a
measurement. In its defense, it's accurate and a bargain price.
The PT-2 is spring-loaded and will hang on the guywire whilst you're
adjusting it.
According to my field tests, they are equally accurate. The test
appeared in my "Up The Tower" column in CQ Contest magazine in February,
