For such lenght, the most reasonable to do is to invest in a very good
cable and do not accept any compromises with cables.
Expecially above 10 Mhz, what you gain using a 7/8" (or even 1/2") in
term of reduced losses (compared to standard used amateur cables) is
still more than what you could gain doubling the antenna gain and using
a standard coax.
Since cables are more easily checked for losses (more trustable datas)
while the antenna gain is almost a commercial parameter, to assure a
gain with a good cable is easier and safer, and the meanwhile you
finally save money spending it, you have less aluminium catching wind
and icing.
