Is the your EZNEC conclusion that a 160m horizontal antenna lower than
100 feet above grade is for local (?? miles) work?  Any clues from EZNEC
what the average outer limits of that local work may be?

Do your EZNEC results suggest a vertical rather than horizontal antenna if
one may not get a substantial portion of the horizontal antenna above 100
feet?
