Hi Skip and thanks for the reply,
Thought about that also.  Didn't want to rely on what looked to be 5/16" 
bolts as set screws to support the vertical weight of the antenna and mast.  
The catalog weight says it's 23 lbs, but it's 22 feet long with the support 
pipe diameter of 2 3/4".
