[TowerTalk] Brak-D-Lay time delay question

I have recently installed a new C.A.T.S. Brak-D-Lay unit to replace one
that failed  after several years in a T2X.  I was never really pleased
that the old unit only provided about a 5 second delay even though it is
spec'd at 7 seconds.  My new unit is only holding the brake open for
about 4 seconds, which I find inadequate.  The manufacturer claims the
unit is not adjustable and to expect "some variation" due to R-C values.

I am curious about what other users have found about the delay times of
their particular units.
