A good check is to take an ohmmeter and measure from the 15m trap
outer tube to the 10m trap outer tube on each element half. You
should see less than 0.5 ohm or so. This one measurement checks
ALL the connections in the element half.

I'm on vacation without my manual, but I seem to recall that you can
also measure DC continuity across the rear driven element big tubing,
thereby checking the phasing straps, matching components, and through
the balun.
