[TowerTalk] K8UR array - effect of ground

I note in the vertical survey by Steve and Ward that all the antennas
had a dense ground screen underneath, including the so-called "vertical
dipole" types. I was surprised at rather decent results (for a
vertical).

I am going to HAVE to put my old Gap Titan over a good ground screen and
see how it plays. It might turn out to be a good SO2R antenna.

The deal with verticals has always been to get rid of the %##$&@!
losses.
