It's certainly better than the MFJ-989 and similar tuners, although it 
lacks a lot of features that would be nice (like an SWR/Power 
meter and balun).

It won't handle anywhere near the power of an ATR 30 or the 
biggest PalStar tuner, mostly because the capacitor spacing is too 
close and the roller inductor is far too small.
