K1VR:  No.  Years ago, K8CC operated from HR1DAP and loaded a 50 foot
tower next to a house with a gamma rod on both 80 and 160.  He made a lot
of QSO's. Even in a small yard, you could add reflectors and directors
(see www.yccc.org and click on features, look for the "FVR Spitfire."
