Hi Byron
I use an inverted "L" on 160 and it works very well. You could do that
with your tower. Just run a support out from the top, 2 or 3 feet, and
hang a vertical from that and a flat top from the top of the vertical to
one of the trees. You would only need about 60 feet of wire for 80 so
that would work FB. I also saw an article in CQ about making a "top
loaded sloper" for 80 or 160. You would run a sloper from the top of the
tower down to a aluminum mast on the ground with a top hat on it cut for
the frequency you want to operate. That also sounds interesting. 73 and
