[TowerTalk] Match

Hello folks,  KLM used teflon 50 and 75 ohm
coax to make a quarter wave tranformer for
KLM 40 - 3 ( linear loaded 40 meter 3 el yagi)
I dont have the teflon and will either use the
rg-213 and rg-11 or use a pair of rg-11 to match the low impedance of
the antenna.
My question is can I coil this into a choke balun
and do away with a seperate 50 ohm 1:1 balun
at the antennas feedpoint. 
Would also be intersted in hearing about any
working KLM  40's using helical hairpin matching. I dont have the
original Maxi Match
and wouldnt want to use it anyway 73 KN9T
