My compromise 4 square on 160 is 4 1/4 wave slopers with elevated radials.
It models poorly but still kicks a lot of tail on 160.  For example, in 99
and 00 I made the top 10 box USA on SSB in the CQ 160 Test (brag) with it.
It models poorly but beats a lot of even poorer antennas.  I guess Albert
was correct when he said all things are relative.  Or as we say in my trade
"get as close as you can to what you want to get" and this was as close as I
could get to what I really wanted and could afford.
