If the tower was heavily loaded (over loaded) and you were to put the
rotator up
on the tower at the 50 ft level ( I don't know why someone would do
that) I
would imagine the best installation would be a pin base with a heavy
duty torque
station below the rotator. This would relieve the first 50 ft from the
torque
loads and would only have to handle compression loads. Just my opinion
and gl
with the project.
