I might add that if wooden towers were not available, where would the oil
and gas industry be today withouy them?  In East Texas every tower that was
the beginnigs of the largest oil field in the world was built of wood.
There still stands one at the East Texas Oil Museum on the campus of Kilgore
College built by one of the original rig builders.  I knew him personally
and he has been dead for 25 years.
