I have a Yaesu G-1000SDX rotor I need to put back in temporary service
while I send my new rotor back for service. I have had problems with the
control box of the Yaesu in the past so I purchased a new one but it is
for the new model G-1000DXA. The connectors are different and I would
like to know if anyone out here knows if the new control box will work
with the older model rotor. If so, what is the correct wiring
configuration. The older model used 6 position connectors with on 5
pins used and the new control box manual shows a 7 position connector on
the rotor with only 6 pins used and what appears to be a molex type
connector on the control box with 6 positions. How do I convert the old
style connector wiring to the new style? Thanks and hope everyone had a
great Christmas. 73 Rick wa5rt
