[TowerTalk] Antenna Restrictions

Hi Steve and all TT fans,

I am working with the local township in drafting HR antenna regulations and
the first draft is a bit restrictive. However, this is a big step since it
was terrible for the past 5 years.

Steve, do you have any "Up the tower" pages that would demonstrate that no
height restriction is imperative. They want a maximum
of 60' crackups that can be lowered to 25% of its height (obviously
impractical, no collapsible goes to 15'). This also eliminates 1/4 wave 80
meter verticals.

For the multitudes, has any one worked out zoning regs that is kind to hams?
Would like copies of ordinances that do not restrict height.
Thoughts/perspectives from any one is appreciated.
