54 big grips is ~$300 added to the cost of EHS.  Your break-up schedule
should work fine.  Breaking strength of appropriate-size Phillystran is as
good as EHS, though abrasion and fire are potential problems and elongation
is maybe twice that of steel.  The pultruded fiberglass is potentially
stronger and has elongation similar to steel, but can only be bought in
quantity.  As someone said, "there ain't no such thing as a free lunch."
