[TowerTalk] the Flex disc dillemma

Fellows, I have never seen the flex disc in action, or an
extended mast, but the
easiest thing in the world to do is to have a motorcycle front
spring welded to the mast near the rotor, and then cut the mast
BETWEEN the ends of the spring.

Various spring sizes and twisting moment?? are available. If you
have a huge array, you will probably need a spring from a Harley.
